SettleEasy respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the SettleEasy app handles, how it is used, where it is stored, and which third-party services may process information when you use the app.
SettleEasy is designed so that your settlement and transaction records are primarily stored locally on your device. Certain information may be processed by third-party services that support features such as analytics, advertising, referrals, Premium functionality, currency exchange rates, and in-app purchases.
SettleEasy allows you to enter information to manage your settlements and business activities.

Settlement and transaction information is stored locally on your device in the SettleEasy application database and is not intentionally uploaded to SettleEasy’s Firebase backend as part of normal settlement functionality.
Business profile information is also stored locally on your device.
SettleEasy uses Google Firebase for certain application features, including:
SettleEasy may create an anonymous Firebase account or identifier for features such as referrals and Premium functionality.
This may include an anonymous Firebase UID and information associated with that identifier.

Your settlement and transaction records are not intentionally stored in Firebase Firestore as part of the normal operation of SettleEasy.
Firebase security rules are used to restrict access to user-specific information.
SettleEasy uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and to improve its functionality.

SettleEasy does not intentionally send settlement records, transaction notes, or transaction amounts to Firebase Analytics as part of normal settlement functionality.
SettleEasy uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements.

Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on applicable settings, consent requirements, location, and Google’s advertising systems.
SettleEasy does not directly collect or store payment-card information through advertising.
SettleEasy offers Premium features through Google Play Billing.

SettleEasy may store information necessary to recognize your Premium entitlement, such as Premium status, Premium type, expiry information for applicable rewards, and an anonymous Firebase identifier.
SettleEasy supports multiple currencies and may obtain exchange-rate information from:

Exchange rates for currencies such as USD, EUR, and GBP are obtained from this service and cached locally on your device.
The currency-rate request does not intentionally include your settlement records, transaction notes, business profile, names, or transaction amounts.
SettleEasy provides a manual Backup & Restore feature.
Manual backups are encrypted using your chosen backup password and use AES-GCM encryption with password-based key derivation.
🔐 SettleEasy does not have access to your backup password.
You are responsible for keeping your backup password secure. If you lose the password, SettleEasy may not be able to recover the encrypted backup.
The SettleEasy local Room database itself is not represented as encrypted database storage.
SettleEasy uses reasonable security measures, including:
No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Information stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, clear the application’s data, uninstall the application, or otherwise remove it.
Manually created encrypted backup files remain wherever you choose to store them until you delete them.
Android device backup or transfer features may also retain application data depending on your device and Android configuration.
Firebase-related information, including anonymous identifiers, referral information, and Premium-related information, may remain stored until it is deleted through an applicable deletion process or according to applicable retention requirements.

SettleEasy is not designed specifically for children.
The app is intended for general users who can legally use settlement and financial-management tools.
We do not knowingly request children to provide personal information.
